Proceedings

General information

Contributions presented at the conference can appear in a special issue of the American Institute of Physics (AIP) Conference Proceedings Series or in a special issue of the on-line journal Diffusion Fundamentals, depending on the category of presentation, as described below. In both cases, you may submit your manuscript after your abstract is assigned for either a talk or a poster (i.e. after the 1st July 2010). Deadline for the submission of manuscripts is Monday September 13, 2010. Manuscripts have to be submitted as a single pdf file on-line via your user account in the conference management system "Converia" after the 1st July August 2010. Please note, that we can not incorporate manuscripts send to us as e-mail attachment. Late submissions cannot be accepted. All manuscripts will be peer reviewed. The two special issues are as follows.

Special Issue of AIP Conference Proceedings

As for MRPM9, presenters of all invited and contributed talks will have the opportunity to submit their papers for inclusion in the Proceedings of the 10th International Bologna Conference on Magnetic Resonance in Porous Media - MRPM10, published by the AIP, as part of their Conference Proceedings Series . Each registered participant at MRPM10 will obtain a printed copy of the Proceedings, that will be available on-line to the scientific community via AIP website. Manuscripts for the AIP Conference Proceedings must be prepared strictly according to the Author Instructions for AIP Conference Proceedings, where detailed instructions to authors are available, along with sample papers and templates. AIP will publish your paper exactly as received - i.e., camera-ready. This is different from normal journal publications. AIP does not copyedit or typeset the papers. Therefore it is imperative that the author strictly follows the AIP template provided, and double check the paper carefully before submitting, in the submitted original, or any required revision. The maximum length of the manuscript will be strictly limited to 4 printed pages, in a single column, 8.5 x 11 inch single-column format. The 4-page limit will be rigidly adhered to. Any manuscripts that exceed the 4-page limit will not be accepted for publication in the AIP Proceedings. For each paper a copyright release has to be signed by at least one author for each paper. Each manuscript must be uploaded and submitted as a single pdf file. Please send the Copyright transfer form, the permission form (if needed) and the off-prints form (if asked) directly to Petrik Galvosas.

Special Issue of Diffusion Fundamentals

As for MRPM9, presenters of accepted posters will have the opportunity to submit papers based on the posters for inclusion in a Special Issue of the open-access on-line journal Diffusion Fundamentals. This special edition will also include the abstracts of all accepted contributions to the conference. Manuscripts for Diffusion Fundamentals must be prepared strictly according to the Author Instructions, where detailed instructions to authors are available (however, please submit your article via the conference management system "Converia" and not as e-mail attachment). As for the AIP Proceedings, manuscripts need to be prepared camera-ready and will not be copy-edited or typeset. Authors are kindly requested not to exceed four pages substantially.
