While all the activities below are incorporated into the conference fee, we would still appreciate if you let us know whether you intend to participate. Please make appropriate choices while registering.

Breakfast

We like to pick up on the pleasant atmosphere most of the participants of the MRPM9 experienced during the breakfast before the first session. We hope you enjoy this social and stress free way of starting the day. Please consider this opportunity when you make your hotel bookings. The hotels on our accommodation page have an option without breakfast in place for particular that reason.

Student Breakfast Table

We also like the idea of the student breakfast table as it was done for the first time at MRPM9 in Cambridge (MA), and will continue it here.

Conference Dinner

We will have the conference Dinner in the old bastion "Morizbastei". We anticipate huge excitement while celebrating the evening in walls hundreds of years old and a couple of meters thick.

Excursion

We decided not to dwell on (no doubt) important German history of arts or philosophy. Instead we want to familiarize you with engineering and industrial history by bring you to a former strip mining place which is now the open air museum "Ferropolis".

Sunday Service

For those of you arriving on Saturday and wanting to take part in a Sunday church service it might be intresting to know that there is a quite lively "Leipzig English Church". It is an Anglican Protestant service starting at 10:30 am on the Sunday morning at 54 Aurelienstraße.
